Our client is a UK based independent high end bespoke packaging company specialising in packaging for over 30 years with experience in a wide range of sectors.
They currently have an exciting opportunity open for a Regional Managing Director. You will be based around the West Midlands. You will be responsible for the implementation of the business' core values and the creation of a people-focused environment to challenge and develop the workforce, constant process and product improvement and supporting growth.
You will ensure delivery of the highest standards in effective, people-centred, customer-focused care at the same time as driving innovation in all areas of the company to produce the highest quality products with on time in full deliveries to the customers. This is a business management role with particular sales focus and responsibility for financial and commercial success while being a role model figure inside the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the business strategy to achieve long and short term goals
Develop new business, utilising the National sales team to its full potential as well as personally developing new business
Implement company policy and any changes to it
Lead and develop the team, setting and achieving measurable targets and ensuring staff engagement
Be a credible and inspirational leader with a high degree of personal integrity
Demonstrate commitment to the Company's mission, vision and core values
Represent the Company at public events and with the media where necessary
Building excellent stakeholder relationships internally and externally and delivering high levels of customer service, excellent quality and on time in full deliveries
Ensure customer requirements are met or exceeded
Manage P&L and cashflow within a commercial environment
Set and achieve financial / budgetary control targets
Identify areas for long term growth and control business costs
Analyse Company performance and develop and lead strategy for growth / improvement
Develop and implement innovative, effective improvements in business and processes to improve Company performance
Foster positive change to support company growth
Ensure employees work safely, adhering to health & safety regulations / risk assessments
Ensure necessary certifications / accreditations are achieved and maintainedRequirements:
Experience in driving sales
Excellent oral and written communication skills
First class, effective organisational skills
A pro-active approach to managing projects
Experience of managing a team
A keen eye for detail and an understanding of budgeting and financial reporting
Ability to work under pressure
A personable and professional character that will allow you to build client rapport
Excellent problem solving ability

A good knowledge of MS Office - in particular Power Point and Excel
Experience in the luxury packaging sector preferred
