Regional Manager - Children & Young People
Location: Oxfordshire
Salary: Up to £75,000 per annum
SEND Inclusion Support are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as the Regional Manager across Oxfordshire. Our registered independent accommodations provide support for vulnerable young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) and Complex Needs.
About the Role:
As the Regional Manager, you will take responsibility for overseeing care services associated with our registered care accommodations and provide line management for the care home managers connected to these services. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing and guiding the improvement of these services.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure adequate and effective resourcing of all services to uphold the provision of safe, high-quality care. This involves overseeing the recruitment and appointment of registered managers and keeping the Operations Director of Care informed.
* Deliver high-quality care services that aim to achieve positive outcomes for young people.
* Safeguarding responsibilities, ensuring that all services adhere to and promote safe practices, encompassing recruitment, safeguarding/LADO referrals, risk management, bullying, and exploitation.
Qualifications:
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management /Registered Manager NVQ 4
* A care-based degree is desirable but not mandatory
* Significant experience working as a Registered Manager in a Children’s Residential Care setting
* Familiarity with Local Authorities and their involvement in the Care process
* Understanding of Care and Support Plans and their relevance to our homes
* Knowledge of best practices in meeting these plans and achieving optimal outcomes for our occupants.
