Description:
Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Regional Lead (Psychological Therapies) to work with children and young people within residential homes, education settings and supported accommodation providers. The role will require successful applicant to be based in their Hereford base 2 days per week, and covering /supporting other bases across the Midlands region.
Role snapshot:
The candidate appointed will line manage clinicians in the Midlands region. They will also hold a small caseload of more complex cases and offer complex case consultation.
Additionally you will work with the organisations commissioners to ensure effective service delivery.
The successful post holder will attend contract reviews and develop relationships with commissioners. Additionally you will collaborate with the strategic lead and senior leadership team to support the vision of the organisations growth. You will deliver training to staff across the service, be involved in recruitment and induction of new staff, and provide monitoring and outcome reports - You will also be expected to provide clinical supervision to other therapists in your team.

Salary - £45,000 - £60,000 FTE
Experience required:
The service will consider Psychologists with HCPC registration , Senior Psychological Therapists (Accredited with a relevant body) or Service Managers within Social Care. Experience working with children and young people is essential.
