Regional Health and Safety Advisor - Midlands and North region

We are looking for an individual to take forward our health and safety agenda but not merely through the traditional implementation of inspections and audits.
 
We want someone who understands how individuals’ competence, skills, personality, attitude, and risk perception influence behaviours at work. We are looking for someone who can engage with individuals at all levels of our organisation to dispel the myths associated with health and safety and make it relevant and visible to everyone.
 
This role is working across Midlands and Yorkshire.

You will have experience of delivering health and safety programmes and learning initiatives in a large multifaceted organisation.

Ideally you will understand the human factors influencing behaviour at work.

You will confidently and effectively integrate the competing demands of jobs, individuals, and the organisation so health and safety are truly embedded throughout the organisation.

You should have the NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Risk and Safety Management and have experience/qualification in carrying out Fire Risk Assessments on Health Care Premises.

You must hold a relevant teaching qualification and be able to deliver the IOSH Managing Safely Course to Directors, Managers, and other relevant employees.

You  must have the ability to travel across England as required and hold a valid driver’s licence. 

What you will get:

Annual salary £31,313 plus £5,000 car allowance
