Regional Finance Director

Description:

As Regional Finance Director, you will lead financial management across the region, overseeing financial performance, reporting, controls and strategy, providing clear insight to support sound decisions and sustainable operations. You will work with regional leaders and senior stakeholders to strengthen financial planning, reporting and control.
Duties
* Lead financial accounting, reporting and forecasting across regional operations.
* Lead, coach and develop finance teams across multiple locations, align processes across sites and embed best practice
* Develop and implement the regional financial strategy
* Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast
* Develop, coach and lead the finance team across multiple locations, working collaboratively with colleagues across the business.
* Ensure a robust system of internal controls and finance governance
* Lead audits and manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors and regulatory bodies
* Identify and mitigate financial and commercial risks
* Support finance teams during peak workloads and critical reporting periods
Skills
* Proven experience leading finance transformation programmes, including restructures, process optimisation and the implementation of technology driven automation solutions
* Senior finance leadership within a multi site organisaton
* Extensive budgeting, forecasting and financial planning experience
* Experience managing complex financial operations and change initiatives
* Strong commercial experience
* Experience with ERP implementation and business transformation projects
* Leadership skills, sound judgement and the ability to communicate financial information clearly.
* Manufacturing or Industrial sector experience
