Refuse Loader – Padworth, Reading
Monday to Friday | 6:00 am to 2:00 pm | £13.47 per hour (£538.80 per week based on 40 hours)
Are you ready to join a dynamic team playing a vital role in keeping Padworth and Reading clean and safe? We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a motivated Refuse Loader to support daily waste collection and contribute to efficient, environmentally friendly waste management. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, working outdoors, and being part of a hardworking team.

Key responsibilities:
* Collecting and loading refuse safely and efficiently from domestic and commercial premises
* Working closely with your crew to ensure timely collection routes and maintaining high standards
* Sorting waste as required to promote recycling and reduce landfill use
* Operating safely around vehicles and equipment, adhering to all health and safety guidelines
* Reporting any issues such as missed collections or equipment faults promptly
* Maintaining a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with members of the public
Requirements:
* Ability to work physically demanding shifts outdoors in various weather conditions
* Strong team player with a positive and reliable work ethic
* Good understanding of health and safety practices related to waste collection
* Punctuality and commitment to the agreed working hours
* Previous experience in refuse collection or similar industrial roles is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
