Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm PAY 14.91 ph

Full driving licence, CPC card and Digi card required
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• To drive and load all waste collection vehicles on scheduled collection rounds as instructed and in accordance with the current team task and finish scheme.
• To ensure that all processes / collections are carried out in accordance with Health & Safety procedures and the Drivers Handbook.
• To ensure that all tachograph regulations are adhered with.
• All Road Traffic Regulations are adhered with.
• To ensure the vehicle is in good working order, vehicle defects are recorded correctly and subsequent procedures are carried out appropriately. Vehicle cleanliness is upheld daily / weekly.
• To use in-cab communication technology to follow instructions and to record work completed and record incidents such as blocked streets, bins not presented for collection etc.
• To hold the appropriate driving licence, undergo any required training and maintain a driver’s Certificate of Professional Competence.
• To oversee the crew, ensuring that all performance / disciplinary matters are escalated appropriately.
• To assist the loaders with the collection and emptying of bins and sacks.
• Required to work 5 days out of 7 days, including Saturdays to catch-up with collections after bank holiday’s / Christmas or severe weather disruptions.
• Any other duties commensurate with a Waste Operative
