Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, 45 hours (Some flexibility required).
Refrigeration Engineer required for a market leading manufacturer, who are continuously investing in and growing the business. They are a successful independent company who offer a personable working environment with great opportunities for training, development and progression.
The Refrigeration Engineer Role:
Supporting engineering in all aspects of site refrigeration.
Maintaining the site plant to ensure it runs efficiently.
Creating, implementing, and regularly reviewing and updating a refrigeration maintenance programme.
Minimising downtime with call out support.
Providing status reports and continuing reports regarding the system.
Providing site training to the engineering department when needed.
Providing training, support, and guidance to refrigeration engineer apprentices.
Advising the Chief Engineer of any issues that arise.
Suggest changes for cost savings and performance improvements.
The Successful Refrigeration Engineer:
You will have a formally recognised refrigeration engineering qualification, such as NVQ Diploma level 2/3 in servicing and maintaining refrigeration systems or similar.
Can demonstrate and possesses the appropriate technical competencies and certificates relevant to the skills required e.g.2079 Refrigerant handling, ACRIB, Ammonia, FGAS or equivalent
