Refrigeration Engineer - Bristol / Newport
Salary: £43,680 Basic + £1,575 Annual Standby Payments + Door-to-Door Travel Pay

We're working with a well-established and respected service provider in the commercial refrigeration sector, known for their reliability and technical expertise. With over 25 years in the industry, they support a diverse range of clients across retail, healthcare, education, and more.
Due to the retirement of a long-serving engineer, an opportunity has become available for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join their solid and well-established team. This is a rare opportunity to become part of a business with excellent staff retention and a strong reputation within the industry.
The Role
In this role, you'll be responsible for:
Servicing, maintaining, and repairing commercial refrigeration systems such as cold rooms, chillers, freezers, and display units.
Carrying out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.
What We're Looking For
Experience working on commercial refrigeration equipment.
F-Gas Certification (essential).
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (preferred).
CO2 refrigeration experience is desirable but not essential.
Full UK driving licence.
Confident in diagnostics and fault finding.
The Package
£43,680 basic salary
£1,575 annual standby payments (1 in 6 call-out rota)
Door-to-door travel paid
40-hour working week
Overtime paid at 1.5x (Monday-Saturday) and 2x (Sundays & Bank Holidays)
33 days holiday (25 days + 8 Bank Holidays)
