REC Source is looking for an energetic, organised and driven Recruitment Resourcer to join our growing Romford branch.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys speaking with people, working in a fast-paced environment and wants to build a long-term career within recruitment.

As a Recruitment Resourcer, you will play a key role in finding, engaging and registering candidates for our busy Driving and Industrial divisions. You’ll work closely with our Recruitment Consultants and Account Managers to make sure our clients have the right workers, in the right place, at the right time.

Whether you already have recruitment experience or have strong customer service, sales, call centre or administrative experience and want to move into recruitment, we want to hear from you.

What will you be doing?

As our Recruitment Resourcer, your day will be varied, busy and people-focused.

You will be responsible for:

- Searching for suitable candidates using job boards, our internal database and other recruitment platforms

- Calling and speaking with candidates about available jobs

- Advertising vacancies across job boards and recruitment channels

- Screening candidates and assessing their suitability for roles

- Registering new candidates and supporting them through the onboarding process

- Checking availability and keeping candidate records up to date

- Matching candidates to temporary and permanent vacancies

- Sending bulk SMS and email campaigns to our candidate database

- Building strong relationships with candidates

- Supporting Recruitment Consultants and Account Managers with urgent bookings

- Helping fill last-minute and high-volume requirements

- Maintaining accurate information within our recruitment system

- Following compliance procedures and ensuring candidates are ready for work

- Keeping regular contact with existing workers and maintaining a strong available candidate pool

- On-call based on a rota

A successful Recruitment Resourcer at REC Source is someone who is proactive.

You won’t simply wait for applications to arrive — you’ll actively search, call, engage and build relationships with candidates.

Previous experience as a Recruitment Resourcer would be an advantage, but it is not essential for the right person.

Experience within recruitment, customer service, telesales, call centres, account management, administration or another fast-paced environment would also be valuable.
