Join Our Team as a Recruitment Resourcer! ???? 6 MONTH FTC
You won’t find another business that cares more about recruitment and culture.
Lots of people say that. But we’ve put our time and money where our mouth is. And we want a plate-spinning, fast-moving, people person of a resourcer with high standards and a big learning mindset to join our recruitment team, initially on a 6-month FTC as we grow fast.
Ours is a high-performance culture, and high performance in this role is mastering is sourcing candidates from a variety of sources, filtering CVs, carrying out tight telephone interviews that build rapport and keep the screening bar high, and crafting job adverts that stand out from the crowd (rather like this one…). You’ll need to be the kind of people person that loves being the candidate’s first impression of our brand and business – nurturing the candidates, coordinating face-to-face interviews, making the experience great for everyone involved.
You’ll likely be a recruiter who learned the ropes in agency who’s looking for a fresh challenge, or you’ll have been in-house and are ready to take the next step in your career. This is the place for it - we’ve invested in developing a bespoke, highly disciplined, unusual recruitment method over the past five years. We’ve worked with Silicon Valley consultants; we’ve taken our learnings from every hiring event (particularly those we’ve got wrong) and we’ve improved and improved and improved. Our methods won a national Business Culture Award recently, and there’ll be more where that came from.
This is a place where we expect everybody in the business to take their share of responsibility (no lobbing CVs over a fence to a manager) in our data-driven, bias-busting process. Therefore, this role is one-of-a-kind. Working with a raft of managers across all parts of our development and construction business. Working to spot opportunities in the data, in our behaviours and in feedback from managers that will help improve the system and improve the talent we attract.
If learning is what you’re about, this team is an ideal one to join – established, with lots of experienced people to learn from, and with a candid feedback culture and a wish to give responsibility and support, not to micromanage. You’ll be giving and getting feedback from day one, because we think it’s the fastest way to learn and to build trust. We want to be challenged by you, too – we hate unnecessary hierarchy and “my way or the highway” has no place here.
