Hartley Resourcing are a small independent recruitment agency, now in our 17th year, and we provide a professional recruitment service to local employers, including some of the most prestigious employers in the area between Southampton and Fareham. We have recently been awarded a large new contract which means we are extremely busy and are growing the team to absorb this extra work. The role will be HR/Recruitment focused - understanding a job brief given to us by our clients, then advertising, interviewing and shortlisting applicants and all the associated administration.
The role
Hartley Resourcing have enjoyed significant growth in recent years and were voted ‘best independent recruitment agency in Hampshire 2024’ with a simple recipe of providing excellent service to our clients and working to high standards. You will partner with an experienced recruiter and will resource candidates for client roles. This means writing great job adverts to attract the right people and then sifting those applications. You will also search proactively within databases for potential candidates for job vacancies and will call them to interview them. From there, you will match a shortlist to a vacancy and will send that shortlist to our clients and organise the interviews.
The ideal candidate
We are a small independent company, we genuinely care about what we do and you will need that same passion for our business and your customers. You need to be bright with commercial acumen, with natural communication skills. Analytical skills are important as you will be sifting through lots of CVs and need to be forensic to find the right skills/experience within CVs
