Recruitment Consultant (Engineering, Architecture & Construction)

Hybrid – Based in Portishead, Bristol | £27,000 – £32,000 + Commission

The Role

You’ll take charge of your own desk, helping top-tier talent find their dream roles across the architecture, engineering, and construction sectors covering the North of England. We’ll give you the tools, trust, and flexibility you need — you bring the drive, personality, and a hunger to grow.

What You'll Be Doing

* Sourcing, attracting, and engaging standout candidates using platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed

* Building strong, long-term relationships with both candidates and clients

* Managing the full 360 recruitment cycle — from first contact to offer negotiation

* Developing new business opportunities and nurturing warm leads

* Conducting interviews and screening calls to uncover top talent

* Promoting roles and your personal brand through social media and creative outreach

* Contributing ideas, improving processes, and getting stuck into team goals

What We're Looking For

* 2+ years' recruitment experience (ideally with 1+ years in the eng, construction, or arch space)

* Sales or recruitment background (you’re confident, driven, and love making connections)

* Killer communication skills — written, verbal, and the all-important listening

* Creativity, resilience, and the confidence to make things happen

* Target-focused but people-first — you care about making the right match

* Tech-savvy and organised (MS Office, social tools, CRM systems)
