We are looking for a compassionate, motivated, and experienced Recovery Worker to join our team supporting individuals affected by drug and alcohol misuse across Fleetwood and St Annes.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about empowering people to achieve sustainable recovery and improve their health, wellbeing, and quality of life.

About the Role

As a Recovery Worker, you will manage a caseload of clients, delivering person-centred support through every stage of their recovery journey. You will work closely with healthcare professionals, community organisations, and partner agencies to provide holistic interventions that reduce harm and promote long-term recovery.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage a caseload of individuals with drug and alcohol support needs.

* Complete comprehensive assessments, recovery plans, and risk assessments.

* Deliver one-to-one psychosocial interventions and facilitate group sessions where appropriate.

* Promote harm reduction, relapse prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices.

* Support individuals to access healthcare, housing, employment, education, and community services.

* Work collaboratively with partner agencies including mental health services, social care, criminal justice, and primary care.

* Maintain accurate case records and documentation in line with organisational policies.

* Safeguard vulnerable adults and contribute to multi-agency meetings where required.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

* Previous experience working within drug and alcohol, substance misuse, or addiction recovery services.

* Experience managing a caseload and delivering recovery-focused interventions.

* Knowledge of harm reduction principles, safeguarding, trauma-informed practice, and motivational interviewing.

* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

* The ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

* Strong organisational and IT skills.

* A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable.
