Recovery Coordinator – Drug and Alcohol Service

Location: Preston

Pay: £20.00 – £23.00 p/h (depending on experience)

Contract: 3–6 months (with strong extension potential)

We need an experienced Recovery Coordinator to join our service in Preston. If you're a good listener who can keep a cool head under pressure, this is a great contract to sink your teeth into.

What you'll do:

Oversee client caseloads and create actionable, goal-oriented recovery plans.

*

Support clients undergoing Opiate Substitution Therapy (OST), managing reviews and script coordination.

*

Deliver frontline harm reduction advice and practical tools to minimize drug and alcohol-related harms.

*

Perform Blood Borne Virus (BBV) assessments and Hepatitis C testing, ensuring positive cases are swiftly linked into treatment pathways.

*

Deliver specialized alcohol therapies, coping strategies, and relapse prevention tools.

*

Work closely with local statutory and voluntary groups for comprehensive care.

*

What you need: Relevant support or recovery experience, valid enhanced DBS, and UK Right to Work.
