Description:

Morson are currently recruiting for a Reconciliation Accounts Assistant based in Maidenhead with Hybrid working for a 6 month contract.

An opportunity has arisen for a finance professional looking to utilise their experience of controls and reconciliations within a FTSE listed construction business.

This is a critical project role within the newly established R2R function that involves implementing control over balance sheet reconciliations and clearing outstanding items.

The role includes exposure to senior management of the group, other central finance functions and project operations providing an excellent opportunity to use your existing skills

Role Responsibilities

You will:

Produce robust balance sheet reconciliations suitable for audit for Bank accounts, assist and manage the matching process for the GRNI account across a breadth of companies.

Establish sources and backup for outstanding balances.

Provide regular updates on progress.

Monitor and celebrate progress

Identify process issues and provide resolutions.

Document processes feeding into the specific balance sheet accounts and recommend improvements if time allows

The primary responsibilities of this role are:

Produce robust balance sheet reconciliations suitable for audit for various balance sheet accounts across a breadth of companies.

Work with the R2R Finance Manager and SFM to:

· provide updates on progress

· identify issues

· establish solutions to processing problems

Balance Sheet Reconciliations & Analysis.

Support the establishment and maintenance of an effective business control framework.

The Candidate

Qualifications

Qualified by experience in a finance department.

Experience

Experience of process and systems optimisation.

Recent and relevant experience in Reconciliations, GRNI experience desirable.

Collaboration with stakeholders and identifying financial anomalies.

Working with Oracle Enterprise One, or similar ERP system desirable.

Skills

Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and an ethical approach to data including respecting the confidential nature of information and the associated decision making.

Excellent communication skills to convey progress and issues as arise.

Demonstrable ability to quickly form effective working relationships with multiple stakeholders.

Personal Attributes

Self-motivated and a self-starter, with the ability to build positive relationships.

Hands on approach to Operational Finance.

Set and achieve high standards, takes personal accountability for results, and monitors performance against pre-set objectives and performance standards.
