Are you an enthusiastic and professional Receptionist / Administrator with strong customer services or Front of House experience?

If you feel you could be the right person to assist with the smooth running of a school reception, undertaking administrative duties as required to support the school, then we want to hear from you today!!!

Our client a well-known school in Cambridge is looking for someone to start as soon as possible, working Monday – Friday 10am – 6pm with 30 minutes for lunch, 52 weeks of the year.

THERE IS NO ONSITE PARKING, BUT OUR CLIENT IS CLOSE TO CAMBRIDGE TRAIN STATION AND ON THE PARK & RIDE BUS ROUTES.

Duties & Responsibilities of the Receptionist & Office Administrator:

* Greeting visitors, ensuring a professional “front of house” / reception service to pupils, parents, and visitors.

* Ensuring all visitors are signed in and out of the building and met by the relevant member of staff.

* Support with attendance monitoring and locating pupils where necessary.

* Working with the wider administration team to assist with the responding to all enquiries from visitors, parents, and staff (by phone and email) and ensure all matters are dealt with promptly and appropriately.

* Supporting with student enquiries.

* Ordering of stationery, equipment, and medical supplies.

* Administer first aid to students (training will be provided).

* Keep all pupil records on the inhouse system up to date.

* Assist in preparation for open days and other events.

* Assist the administration managers with any other admin tasks, as required.

What you will need to succeed as the Receptionist & Office Administrator:

* Have strong and professional communication skills to liaise effectively and build good working relationships with pupils, parents, academic staff and colleagues.

* Ideally have previous customer services / reception / administration experience.

* Good organisational skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

* A flexible, helpful, and can-do approach is essential.

* Working knowledge of various IT packages including MS Word and Excel.

* Knowledge / experience of working in an educational establishment would be an advantage.
