Description:
Role: Receptionist & Admin Support
Location: Northampton
Duration: 4-6 Months
Rate: £12/hr
The role:
* Greet internal and external guests, making sure they sign in and are made aware of evacuation procedures
* Responsible for managing a busy switchboard, answering, and directing calls to correct departments
* Keeping the reception area clear and tidy and safe (H&S guidelines)
* Booking meeting rooms for internal and external meetings, demonstrations and on occasions arranging catering, travel arrangements as and when required
* General administration including, scanning of confidential documents, ordering stationery, creating ID badges for employees and/or delegates, keep job log spreadsheet up to date
* Opening and distributing post, deliveries are to be logged and relevant department, person notified
* Log cheques and send out to the bank via recorded delivery
* Arranging collection of chemicals from customers via UPS, and sending out chemicals
* Support PSS (Product Support Services) in New Business Rollouts (labels, wallcharts, etc.)
* Preparing New PSS Orders to post to our Sales Teams
* Any other ad hoc duties as and when required
The requirements
* Previous reception, administration and post room experience essential
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential
* Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
* A good basic understanding of Word, Excel and Outlook and keyboard skills.
* The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a Team
