This Reception Teaching Assistant opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting young children as they begin their school journey. A CACHE Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years, or a relevant equivalent Level 3 qualification, is essential for this role due to early years staffing requirements.

Position: Reception Teaching Assistant

Location: Worksop, Nottinghamshire

Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply

Pay: £92.56 - £100 per day (dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available, paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay)

About the Role

As a Reception Teaching Assistant in Worksop, you will support children within the Reception classroom, helping them develop early learning skills, confidence and independence.

The Reception Teaching Assistant may provide whole-class support, work with small groups or offer individual support depending on the needs of the pupils and school. You will help deliver engaging activities through play and support children's early literacy, numeracy and communication.

Key Responsibilities

Support Reception pupils with classroom learning

CACHE Level 3 in Childcare or Early Years, or a relevant equivalent Level 3 qualification, is essential
Previous experience working with children in an early years or school setting
Understanding of early childhood development
Strong communication and teamwork skills
