Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 3:15pm
Location: Longridge
Pay: From £14.25 per hour (Level 2)

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Reception Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Longridge from September.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive Early Years team, working alongside a well-established and experienced Reception teacher to help provide an engaging and nurturing learning environment.

The successful candidate will:

Hold a Level 2 (or above) childcare-related qualification.
Have recent experience supporting children with Speech and Language needs.
Be confident delivering phonics interventions and small group sessions.
Enjoy working collaboratively with an experienced Early Years teacher.
Be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
Be proactive, patient, and passionate about supporting young children's learning and development.

The role includes:

Supporting children in Reception both in class and through targeted interventions.
Delivering phonics sessions to small groups.
Providing tailored support for pupils with Speech and Language needs.
Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
Working closely with the class teacher and wider school staff to support pupil progress.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
