Moore Teachers is delighted to be working with a friendly and welcoming primary school in Cuffley, seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a Reception class on a long-term basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or Early Years Practitioner who is passionate about helping young children develop confidence, independence and a love of learning during the crucial early stages of their education.
The Role
Supporting teaching and learning within a Reception classroom.
Working with pupils on a one-to-one, small-group and whole-class basis.
Assisting with phonics, literacy, numeracy and play-based learning activities.
Promoting children's social, emotional and academic development.
Helping to create a positive, engaging and nurturing classroom environment.
Working closely with the class teacher and wider school staff to support pupil progress.The Ideal Candidate
Experience working with children in a school, nursery or educational setting.
An understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) would be advantageous.
A patient, caring and enthusiastic approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
