Full Academic Year Contract | September 2026 Start
A popular one-form entry primary school in Barnet is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic,professional Reception Teacher to join its Early Years team from September 2026.
This is a full-time position for the entire academic year and offers an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school with a strong reputation for staff development, pupil well being and high-quality teaching and learning.
The school welcomes applications from experienced teachers and will also consider an exceptional ECT looking to begin their teaching career in a nurturing environment with a highly regarded induction and mentoring programme.
The Role
Full-time Reception Teacher position within EYFS
Teaching a Reception class in a one-form entry primary school
Delivering a creative, engaging and child-centred EYFS curriculum
Supporting children to make excellent progress from their individual starting points
Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
Building strong relationships with parents, carers and the wider school community
Full academic year contract from September 2026
The Successful Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an exceptional ECT
Strong understanding of the EYFS Framework
A nurturing and engaging approach to teaching and learning
Excellent classroom organisation and communication skills
High expectations for pupil achievement and development
