Reception Teacher
Full-time - MPS/UPS - September 2024
If you are looking for a role that provides great career progression, whilst teaching a small class in Reception, then this is the role for you! We are shortlisting for a full-time position for a Primary school in Chatham for September; this would be on temp-to-perm basis and is open to both experienced teachers and ECTs.
This is a multi-form entry primary school in Chatham and has an Ofsted grade of GOOD. From 2023. They have high expectations of the pupils behaviour and the children have great relationships with the staff. They are enthusiastic about their learning and engagement is fantastic. The school is also easily accessible via public transport and has onsite parking.
The Role
Planning and delivering the Primary Curriculum in EYFS.
Responsibility for ensuring your cohort is supported and challenged appropriately with the work set.
Managing behaviour within the classroom effectively
Liaising with Parents/Guardians on the progress and/or potential development areas of students
Requirements
Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK
Experience teaching the UK Primary Curriculum EYFS would be highly desirable but not essential.
Hold an enhanced DBS (DBS on the update service is highly desirable)
Have right to work in the UK
