Reception SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: Kirkstall, Leeds
Type: Temporary with a Permanent Opportunity, Full Time
Salary: £90 - £100 per day (Dependent on experience)

PK Education is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Reception SEND Teaching Assistant at a welcoming, one-form entry primary school located in the heart of Kirkstall.
About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to support our new cohort of pupils who have a variety of SEND and additional needs. This role involves working closely with young children, some of whom may require personal care. Your primary responsibility will be to provide tailored support to ensure each child can thrive in their learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group support to Reception pupils with SEND and additional needs.
- Assist in the implementation of Educational Health Care Plans (EHCP’s)
- Support children with personal care needs as required.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with the SENCo, teachers, parents, and external professionals to support each child's development.

Requirements:
- Experience working with children with SEND.
- Experience working in a primary education setting.
- A caring and patient nature with a passion for supporting young learners.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications or training in SEND (desirable but not essential).
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs of pupils.
