To be successful in your application you must be a positive and creative Reception ECT who can teach relevant and well-planned lessons. You will have the passion for teaching and be able to motivate under-achieving students and help raise attainment levels.
In this Reception ECT post, you will be teaching one of the reception classes. Through the exceptional CPD on offer, you will learn a host of new teaching skills and the school, and the department follow a roughly holistic teaching ethos. Day-to-day, you will be dealing with the full range of needs and capabilities in your class through assigning certain duties and responsibilities to your dedicated class teaching assistant.
You will be working closely with the head of KS1, who also joined the school as an ECT. During your induction you will be given all the tools and support you need to work to the best of your ability, at this brilliant school you will thrive as a Reception ECT.
