A very establish multi-disciplinary consultancy, based in Central London, is looking for a recently qualified Architectural Technician or Technologist due to an increasing and sustainable workload. Their portfolio spans an interesting range of mostly commercial and residential projects.
The consultancy offers and architectural design service and a large proportion of your work will be on high-end and luxury residential projects that are undergoing alterations and extensions that you might find in affluent areas of West London to serve as an example. These can often include basement extensions that may incorporate swimming pools. You will therefore be involved with technically interesting work that could include tanking and party wall matters. The role would require duties such as visiting sites to undertake measures surveys, planning applications, building regulation drawings and construction drawings. Projects however are not limited to residential. AutoCAD experience is required and technical residential UK experience would be advantageous. You will be working closely with an architecturally trained Associate Director and various Directors, assisting on many architectural elements of their projects.
