LCF Law is currently recruiting for a Real Estate Administration Assistant.

The Role

The Administration Assistant will provide an administrative support service to Partners and Senior Fee Earners of the Real Estate Department. The role will involve performing all duties and functions to ensure the smooth running of the team and assisting in providing a top-quality service to clients.

Key Responsibilities

* Undertake certain elements of fee earn work under supervision (in particular - file creation, generation of suitable client care correspondence, processing routine documentation in the furtherance of the matter)

* Dealing with third parties in progressing the transactions

* Processing the collation of financial data in conjunction with the accounts department and firms accounting software

* Managing all client work allocated by the head of department and in accordance with the office manual, detailed procedures and quality standards set by the firm

* Co-ordination of the key dates reminder systems as outlined in the office manual

* E-Mail - dealing with incoming instruction emails on the same day as they are received; assigning incoming emails that are not instruction emails to the relevant fee earner who has responsibility for the matter

* Post - dealing with incoming and outgoing post as requested by other team members;

* Filing - maintenance of all hard copy files on a daily basis; dealing with any filing requests as requested from time to time by other members of the team

About you

The Administration Assistant will be an ambitious and innovative candidate who is looking for an opportunity to challenge themselves in a high performing organisation.

Ideally you will have

* Excellent communication and customer service skills

* Good data input skills

* Good team player, but also ability to work on own initiative

* Good attention to detail

* Good organisational skills

* Previous administrative/customer service experience

* Ability to meet tight deadlines and targets and work under pressure.

* Experience of working in conveyancing (desirable)

* Experience of working within a busy team (desirable)

Hours of work

Monday to Friday - for 7.5 hours to be provided between 9am and 5.30pm each day, with one hour unpaid lunch.
