As an RE Teacher, you'll play a pivotal role in nurturing students' academic and personal growth, fostering a love for learning about different religions, and creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment. RE Teacher Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and interactive RE lessons that cover a wide range of religious beliefs, practices, and ethical issues, tailored to the needs and interests of students.
Utilize a variety of teaching strategies, resources, and discussion-based activities to make learning about religions enjoyable and accessible for all students.
Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel empowered to explore religious ideas, reflect on their own beliefs, and respect diverse perspectives.
Assess student progress through a range of formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth and development.
Promote critical thinking and empathy by encouraging students to question assumptions, consider multiple viewpoints, and engage in thoughtful dialogue about religious and moral issues.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular links, participate in departmental meetings, and contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and initiatives.

Qualifications:

- Relevant university degree in Religious Education or a related field.

- PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.

- Experience teaching RE within a UK school setting is preferred, but not essential.
