We are looking to employ an experienced RE Teacher to work on a temporary, long-term basis, with the possibility of a permanent position for the right individual. We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic person to support the school with a reliable and consistent staff member, who is passionate about education and has a good level of experience.

They are looking for a Religious Education Teacher who has an in depth knowledge of the curriculum and excellent classroom management. They’re looking to hire for a full-time maternity cover position for the academic year, starting in September. The successful RE Teacher will be working across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4. You will be planning lessons centred around diversity of beliefs while introducing different religious values and giving students the platform to explore and learn about different religions in a secure and supportive environment. There is also the opportunity to bring fresh, innovative ideas and initiatives into the classroom to inspire the students.

The successful qualified RE Teacher will have:

-          QTS (ECT’s are welcomed to apply)

-          Experience teaching RE up to Key Stage 3 / Key Stage 4

-          Excellent classroom management

-          Strong communication skills

-          Good organisational skills
