Religious Education Teacher in Aldershot Area (ECT Candidates welcome)

Start September 2024

Pay – £130- £230 per day (depending on experience)

Location – Aldershot Area

Hours - 8am – 4PM

Temporary Full-time with the potential to become permanent

About the role:

The school seeks a driven and inspirational teacher to join the RE department, boasting an excellent track record of success, the role is also suitable for ECT candidates. The school are looking for someone with excellent subject knowledge, good classroom management and a really positive approach to teaching and building relationships. This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable skills or build upon existing experience in an education setting.

The School is a mixed Secondary school based in the Aldershot area for students aged from 11-16, with around 1800 pupils. The school comes with a Good reputation and has supportive team members.

Candidate Responsibilities:

-          Comprehensive Curriculum Delivery: Implement and deliver a broad, balanced, relevant, and differentiated curriculum tailored to students' needs, ensuring comprehensive support for designated curriculum areas.

-          Student Progress Monitoring: Actively monitor and support the overall progress and development of students in the role of teacher and form tutor, ensuring personalised guidance and support.

-          Individual Potential Achievement: Facilitate and encourage a learning environment that enables students to achieve their individual potential, fostering a culture of excellence and personal growth.

-          High Standards of Attainment: Contribute to raising the standards of student attainment, driving academic success and continuous improvement.

-          Holistic Development: Share and support the school's commitment to providing and monitoring opportunities for both personal and academic growth, ensuring well-rounded student development.

-          Extra-Curricular Engagement: Offer a variety of extra-curricular opportunities for students, enriching their school experience and promoting well-being.

-          You will be required to work confidently with Key Stage 3-4 pupils.
