Pay: £153.85 - £238.85

The Role:

anzuk are seeking a passionate and dynamic RE and Philosophy Teacher to join the Humanities team on a full-time maternity cover contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective RE and Philosophy lessons to students at Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality RE and Philosophy lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students
Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in both subjects
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student well-being and learning Ideal Candidate:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Proven experience teaching RE and History at KS3 and KS4
Experience teaching KS5 is highly desirable
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for RE and History
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and inspire students
