Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced R&D Project Manager to join our dynamic team at our client. The R&D Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects with full accountability for delivering results in terms of cost, quality, schedule, and stakeholder satisfaction. This role requires a proactive and organized individual who can drive R&D projects and ensure their successful completion within defined requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
• Manage R&D projects with full responsibility for project results, focusing on cost, quality, schedule, and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Create detailed project schedules and drive project progress in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Execute projects within defined requirements, ensuring targets for cost, time, quality, functionality, and customer satisfaction are met.
Stakeholder Management:
• Ensure business success and customer satisfaction through professional stakeholder management.
• Incorporate customer feedback during project execution to meet their needs and expectations.
• Ensure timely decisions on open issues, escalating if necessary to ensure project continuity.
Compliance and Standards:
• Ensure adherence to architecture, design, quality guidelines, and product security and safety standards.
• Manage and ensure compliance with standards, working laws, rules, regulations, and intellectual property rights.
• Perform risk and opportunity management to mitigate potential project risks and leverage opportunities.
Agile Development:
• Work within an agile software development environment, closely collaborating with Product Owners and Scrum Masters.
• Ensure appropriate project documentation is maintained and updated throughout the project lifecycle.
Quality Assurance:
• Ensure all project activities comply with quality guidelines and standards.
• Manage project documentation to ensure clarity and traceability of project deliverables.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in an R&D environment, ideally within the traffic management or related industry.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Experience with agile software development and working with Scrum teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make timely decisions.
• Knowledge of compliance standards, intellectual property rights, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to perform risk management and identify opportunities for project improvement.
