Research & Development - Project Lead
Status: Open
Salary/Rate: £45,000-£55,000/annum + Private Health Insurance Location: Hailsham, East Sussex
If you have experience leading multi-discipline R&D projects in Advanced Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Thermofluids, Fluid Mechanics, Materials Engineering, Metallurgy, Additive Manufacturing, Computational Modelling, Controls and Instrumentation, and Vacuum Induction Melting, we have a unique opportunity for you.
The company designs and manufactures specialist equipment for the Advanced Materials industry, selling globally. Our R&D programs, in partnership with leading industry and academic institutions, are expanding.
Reporting to the Director of Research and Technology, this role involves leading R&D projects with our in-house teams.
Job Specifications & Qualifications:
Relevant degree required
Seeking long-term role with growth potential
Leading projects with varied technologies
Project management, financial forecasting, technical and project risk management
Collaboration with partners and academic research activities
Involves office and workshop/lab assignments
Representing the company at conferences and exhibitions
Providing support to other business functions
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure

Full UK Driving Licence
37.5 hour working week
Holiday entitlement: Year 1 = 22 days / Year 2 onwards = 25 days (Plus, Bank holidays)
