Role - R&D Process Engineer (optics)
Hours - Monday to Friday 08:30 - 16:30
Salary - £45k - 54k DOE

The role:
We are looking for an experienced R&D engineer with project management experience. This role isn't for the light hearted it is a well-paying in depth position with plenty of challenge and reward.
The main responsibilities of this position are to develop new deposition technologies, new deposition products & new material systems. You would also be responsible for any external coating research collaborations.
Some other responsibilities include:
Building strong relationships with other departments.
Monitor global developments within your field
Participate and champion proposals, estimates and statements
Lead the R&D section - with an engaging and positive style
Customer visits (some international)About you:
As stated previous experience working with R&D and knowledge of film coatings is vital to be considered for this role. In addition to previous experience in project management, and leadership.
Able to travel internationally for customer visits
