This is a vibrant and unique business in the food manufacturing sector. They specialise in ready-to-eat bakery items, sandwiches, snacks, and more. Not only do they supply to retailers but also their own successful outlets across the country.
You’ll develop and execute robust supply-based risk assessments and raw material protocols. Build and nurture relationships with suppliers to enhance food safety and strengthen business positions. Manage and resolve supplier-related non-conformances, ensuring compliance with all customer and certification body requirements. Conduct thorough supplier audits aligned with risk assessment procedures. Support and grow their supplier community, maintaining high standards of food safety and compliance. Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to enhance processes and achieve strategic goals.
This is a busy business! Employing upwards of 1200 people at this site alone and manufacturing a very broad range of products, you’ll have an extensive network of suppliers to manage.
