We are representing a well-known and highly regarded civil engineering contractor. They have a sterling reputation for completing some of the UK's most recognisable and technically challenging projects. This company operates across various sectors, including water, marine, land remediation, and energy.
Job Details
Position: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Stranraer
Sector: Civil Engineering & Wind Farm Project
Contract: 12 months
Start Date: Immediate
Responsibilities
Overseeing projects from tender through to final account.
Producing accurate forecasts of project costs.
Commercial reporting.
Providing commercial assistance to operational teams and others when required.
Qualifications and Experience
Previous experience in a surveying role within the civil engineering sector, particularly on wind farm projects.
A degree (or equivalent) in a commercial discipline.
Knowledge of a variety of contracts, with an emphasis on bespoke forms of contract.
What's on Offer
Immediate start date.
Minimum 12-month contract.
Payment methods: CIS or PAYE.
£320 to £400 per day.
