Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a background working for a New Build Housing developer?
Approach Personnel are proud to be partnered with a growing, regional new build housing developer in Tamworth, who are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join them on a permanent basis. The developer currently covers the West Midlands/Warwickshire areas and will be looking to expand into new regions in the coming years. As a Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for the commercial success of our developments and ensuring ongoing growth within the business.

What are we looking for?
* Prior experience as a Quantity Surveyor for a new build developer is ESSENTIAL.
* HNC/HND or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related discipline
* Strong knowledge of subcontract procurement, cost control and financial reporting
* A team player with a collaborative approach
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans and cash flow forecasts.
* Monitor and control development costs throughout the construction process.
* Identify commercial risks and opportunities and provide recommendations to maximise profitability.
* Produce accurate monthly cost reports and valuations
