Quantity Surveyor - Fast - track - Fit-Out
Lincoln
Our client is a well-established leader in the commercial interiors and fit-out sector, delivering high-quality bespoke projects across the UK. With decades of industry expertise and a reputation for innovation, quality, and delivery, they are looking to expand their commercial team with the addition of an experienced Quantity Surveyor
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and tender submissions from drawings and specifications
* Managing quantity surveying duties including measurements, valuations, and agreement of work sections
* Monitoring project costs, subcontractor variations, and commercial performance throughout project lifecycles
* Producing cost reports, forecasts, and cash flow projections
* Liaising with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams regarding project costs and budgets
* Preparing quotations from site measurements and subcontractor pricing
* Supporting cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement activities
* Attending client and site meetings across the UK when required
Requirements:
* Previous experience within commercial fit-out, shopfitting, or interiors
* Strong understanding of estimating and quantity surveying processes
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and measurement software/packages
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Commercial awareness with strong attention to detail
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment
