We are working with one of the UK’s leading civil infrastructure contracting groups with a substantial regional presence in South Wales.

The company operate across highways, environmental, water & utilities and have long-term frameworks in place with many of the region’s local authorities & public bodies.

Due to a further influx of work within the with the Neath/Port Talbot & Swansea area, they have an opportunity for Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

The successful individual will be responsible for several smaller framework schemes or as part of a commercial team on one of their larger projects.

The company have a flexible approach to work with candidates able to split their time between site, office and home working.

Furthermore, they offer continuous training, with the opportunity to attain further educational and vocational qualifications/chartered status.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience of preparing Bills of Quantities, cost estimates

• Must be fully computer literate and able to use computer technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports, etc. and any project specific engineering and construction relevant software.

• Relevant academic qualification (HND/BSc or equivalent).

• Minimum of three years’ experience within Quantity Surveying (preferably within civil engineering)
