The role of the Quantity Surveyor – Brickwork will involve:
* Quantity Surveyor position managing costs related to various brickwork projects for main-contractors
* Price the cost of materials needed for the project
* Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, BOQs and other relevant documentation
* Track changes to the works and adjust budget projections accordingly
* Measure and value the work done on site
* Liaise with the client and other internal/external stake holders, such as Site managers & Project Manager
* Working on projects varying in value up to £2.5m
The ideal applicant will be an Quantity Surveyor – Brickwork industry with:
* Must have Quantity Surveying experience
* Ideally will have Surveying degree or equivalent, however experience outweighs qualifications
* Ability to produce take-offs as required
* Knowledge of construction procurement, specifications and sub-contractor management
* Highly organised with good attention to detail
* Excellent communicator across all levels both written and verbally
* Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment
