Quantity Surveyor

6 month contract (likely extension)

Hybrid role (Office in Stafford)

£500 per day OUTSIDE IR35

GreenScout are working exclusively with a major player within the HV industry, who urgently require a Quantity Surveyor on an initial 6 month contract.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to commercially manage National Grid infrastructure projects under NEC4 contracts. The successful candidate will be responsible for cost control, contract administration and commercial reporting, working closely with project teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage the commercial aspects of allocated NEC4 projects.

* Prepare and manage Compensation Events, Early Warning Notices and Applications for Payment.

* Produce monthly CVRs, forecasts and cost reports.

* Administer subcontractor accounts and procurement.

* Manage commercial risks and opportunities.

* Negotiate and agree final accounts.

* Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal teams.

Requirements

* Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.

* 3+ years' Quantity Surveying experience.

* Experience working under NEC3/NEC4 contracts.

* Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.

* Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

* Full UK Driving Licence.
