Quantity Surveyor – Plymouth
We’re working with a well-established, growing construction consultancy based in Plymouth that’s looking to strengthen its team with the addition of a talented Quantity Surveyor.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining Quantity Surveying with Project Management responsibilities and wants to develop their career within a supportive, forward-thinking consultancy.
The Role you’ll be involved in a broad mix of work, including:
Cost planning and cost management
Procurement and tendering
Contract administration
Project Management and project delivery
Employer's Agent duties (where applicable)
Client-facing responsibilities across a varied portfolio What We’re Looking For
2–5+ years' experience in Quantity Surveying within a consultancy environment
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
Ideally MRICS or working towards Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) chartership
Previous consultancy experience (essential)
Some Project Management experience or a genuine interest in delivering projects alongside traditional QS duties
Strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills
Experience across multiple sectors is advantageous but not essential Salary £40,000 – £55,000 depending on experience
Location Plymouth (office-based with site visits)
