Freelance Quantity Surveyor
Location: Immingham
Duration: Long-term
Rate: £350 - £450 Outside IR35
I'm currently working with an established civil engineering and infrastructure contractor who are looking to add a Freelance Quantity Surveyor to their commercial team on a major project in Immingham.
The role would suit a QS with solid civils/infrastructure experience who is comfortable working within a project environment and managing their own commercial responsibilities.
Responsibilities include:
Commercial management and cost control
Monthly reporting and forecasting
Subcontractor management
Procurement and valuations
Applications and payment assessments
Managing variations and change
Final accounts
Commercial risk and opportunityLooking for:
Experience working as a QS within civils/infrastructure
NEC experience
Strong commercial understanding
Experience with subcontractors
