Description:
Our client is currently offering an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join their esteemed North London office team. Collaborating closely with company directors and an established commercial team, candidates should possess strong communication skills. While a solid understanding of the brick and blockwork sector is preferred, it is not mandatory. Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Generating interim valuations and final accounts.
- Conducting project cost reconciliations.
- Performing take-offs and composing Bills of Quantities (BoQ’s).
- Accurately pricing BoQ’s in alignment with contract requirements and market conditions.
- Conducting site visits prior to tender submissions.
- Pursuing submitted tenders and attending relevant meetings.
- Creating material procurement schedules.
- Reviewing subcontract orders for director approval.
- Ensuring contractual compliance to safeguard company interests.
Projects typically range from £250,000 to £(phone number removed), encompassing various sectors of the industry primarily located north of the river and in the northern Home Counties. Current project sites include multiple locations such as Soho (x3), Hounslow (x2), Bermondsey (x2), Winchmore Hill (x2), Waltham Cross, Marylebone, Old Street, Highgate, Hampstead, Camden, and Ashford.
