Our client, a well-established contractor in the water and utilities sector, is currently seeking a Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a long-term contract basis. This role will support major Yorkshire Water AMP8 projects and is located in Sheffield, offering a hybrid working arrangement. The position is outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing project costs, valuations, and financial reporting
Expertise with NEC contracts
Delivering on project controls and ensuring adherence to budget

Job Requirements:

Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in Water, Utilities, or Civil Engineering sectors
Understanding of NEC contracts and their implementation
Proficiency in cost management, financial reporting, and valuations

Desirable Skills:

Experience producing cost forecasts
Knowledge of change control processes
Previous involvement in AMP programmes
