INFORM3 Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a Main Contractor for:
Role – Quantity Surveyor
Location – Co. Tyrone
Salary – £35K – £50K
About the Company:
Our client here at Inform3 is a leading construction specialist, committed to reshaping projects in the Health, Education, Commercial, and Housing sectors have a requirement for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
As Quantity Surveyor you are required to provide commercial support to their contract and project teams, by maintaining commercial information and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements whilst ensuring the company objectives are achieved.
You will liaise with client and customer representatives and other third parties on commercial issues including agreement of variations, claims and any additional payments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation of sub-contract tender packages and issuing for tender.
* Awarding sub-contract packages.
* Completion of budgets and cash flow forecasts.
* Completion of valuations.
* Negotiation with Clients QS or their appointed agents.
* Evaluations for projects claims and sub-contractor payments.
* Identifying and investigating variances between forecast and actual performance.
* Negotiation of final accounts for given contracts.
* Recommendations for sub-contractor payments.
* Negotiating specifications where necessary.
Specification:
* Experience working with a Main Contractors in NI or ROI.
* Experience of handling 3 or 4 projects at one time.
* 4+ years’ experience working as a Quantity Surveyor.
* Good communication skills dealing with S/C, clients, and colleagues.
* Well organised – this is due to dealing with multiple jobs at a time.
* Ability to work on your own and within a team environment.
* Drivers License.
