Project Quantity Surveyor| Prime Residential | West London | Permanent | Remote Working
This is not a traditional QS role. They're looking for someone who wants broad exposure to both commercial management and project delivery, with a genuine opportunity to progress into senior leadership as the business grows.
The Business
Growing contractor specialising in prime and super-prime residential projects across London
• Strong focus on quality, client service and long-term relationships
• Direct access to the Managing Director and involvement in key business decisions
• Opportunity to help shape the future commercial function of the business
• Clear pathway towards senior leadership and future Commercial Director responsibilities
The Role
Hybrid Quantity Surveying and Project Management position
• Tendering and procurement of subcontract packages
• Managing valuations, invoices, variations and cost reporting
• Monitoring project costs and commercial performance
• Supporting project delivery alongside site teams
• Attending site, client and commercial meetings
• Managing relationships with consultants, subcontractors and clients
• Reporting directly to the Managing Director
Your First Project
£1.5m+ refurbishment and extension of a substantial Victorian residence in West London
• Over 4,000 sq ft of prime residential accommodation
• Structural works nearing completion
• Project progressing into superstructure, roofing and internal fit-out phases
• Bespoke joinery, luxury kitchens, specialist finishes and AV integration
• Working alongside an experienced Site Manager and professional consultant team
What they're looking for
Quantity Surveyor with approximately 4–8 years' experience
• Main contractor or consultancy background considered
• Residential, commercial or mixed-use project experience
• MRICS or equivalent qualification preferred
• Strong commercial awareness and technical capability
• Comfortable dealing directly with clients and consultants
• Ambitious individual seeking long-term progression
• High levels of integrity, ownership and accountability
