Quantity Surveyor

Details:
Description:

I am looking for a Quantity Surveyor for a large Civil Engineering infrastructure scheme in Birmingham.
This project is due to run for at least another 5 years and my client has plenty of ongoing work in the Midlands and across the UK.
You will be working as part of an established commercial team and will have the opportunity to progress your career on an exciting project. Opportunities for progression are genuine and my client is known for high levels of staff retention/satisfaction.
You will need a Quantity Surveying degree background and at least 2-3 years experience- this could be in Civil Engineering or Construction.
I would say you would be somewhere between Assistant QS and Intermedate QS level, experience wise.
The focus is to find a QS who will gel with the team and make a commercial success of this prestigious project.
Daily duties will include checking drawings, revisions and pricing additional works- this particular project is under the NEC contract and is budgeted at around £700 m.
The base salary is around 45-55k but there is room for negotiation as my client is keen to secure the right long-term prospect.
Please get in touch for further details on this and other opportunities that may align with your skills, experience and career aspirations
