Description:
An immediate start opportunity exists for a competent Quantity on a roads and highways project in London. Previous tier one contractor experience using NEC3/4 contracts is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
Managing the commercial and contractual aspects of highways and major infrastructure projects.
Preparing and reviewing subcontract packages, procurement schedules and contract administration.
Producing valuations, forecasts, CVRs and cost reports.
Managing variations, compensation events and change control processes.
Supporting project delivery teams to maximise commercial performance.
Negotiating and agreeing final accounts with clients and subcontractors.
Ensuring compliance with NEC forms of contract.
Identifying commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within highways, roads or major civil engineering projects.
Strong knowledge of NEC contracts, including NEC3 and NEC4.
Experience working for a Tier 1 contractor or major civil engineering organisation.
Track record delivering projects for National Highways, Highways England or major local authority frameworks.
Excellent commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills.
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
