Description:

We have an established relationship with a growing premium housebuilder in Kent who have mandated us to further expand their commercial team. Following a number of recent site starts and several new projects due to launch ahead of 2027, we are looking to add a Quantity Surveyor to join the team of five. The ideal candidate will have procurement experience from either an SME or PLC housebuilder, a proactive attitude and ambitions to grow with the business.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare and manage cost estimates and budgets for residential developments.

* Procure and assess subcontractor and supplier quotations.

* Prepare tender documents, subcontract orders, and payment certificates.

* Monitor project costs and report on budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.

* Value subcontractor works and agree final accounts.

* Assist with land appraisals and development viability assessments.

* Identify and manage commercial risks throughout the construction process.

* Work closely with site managers, technical teams, and directors to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
